The art of London

I’m still enjoying all of the photos and memories from our trip to Paris and London last month. So many sights and sounds and tastes to enjoy! I’ll take you for a little walk through the Art of London as I experienced it while I was there.

First stop was Kensington Palace. The building itself is a work of art as are the gardens that surround it.

Our next art adventure was to the National Gallery. This museum is free to the public and filled with room after room of amazing works by so many of my favorite artists.

Vermeer, Degas, Rembrandt, Seurat, I could go on and on and on….

The Tate Modern is housed in a very cool industrial building. It has many floors which are free to the public and then some paid exhibitions as well. Here is a small sampling of what I checked out.

Pollock, Miro, Kandinsky… so much to see!

The last museum I visited was the Victoria & Albert museum. This collection is so large, I felt like I was at the Louvre again! You could easily spend a whole day there.

Here are just a few favorites I captured during my visit.

I enjoyed our visit to London so much! I’ll definitely return.
