Artist Statement
“My approach is not traditional and that is what I love about it. I want to capture the essence of a person or special moment and I do that with color and emotion and design. I have always been an observer of others. I see someone sitting in a beautiful pose and feel called to capture that gesture or that moment. I call my style Loose Realism. I use a lot of drips, splashes and vibrant color in my work. When you discover what you were born to do- pursue that dream passionately for the rest of your life.”
