Color Theory:
The Color Wheel in Watercolor
Online Art Instruction with Andrea Merican
Expand your understanding and use of color in your artwork by creating your own color wheel with watercolors.
You will learn to combine your own colors to create greater variety and interest in your work.
You will also gain more knowledge about color theory and how it can add a new dimension to your paintings.
I will begin by introducing you to all of the supplies needed for this course.
Then I will teach you step by step to draw and layout your color wheel.
We will go over the primary, secondary and tertiary colors and allow each triad to dry before beginning the next. We will finish by painting the complementary colors into our inner color wheel and discussing more about color theory.
