Attention art and nature lovers! I am pleased to share some exciting news with you all. I am honored to be part of the upcoming group juried exhibition and sale, "Inspired: Arizona Artists Celebrate the Natural World," presented by the Arizona Center for Nature Conservation (ACNC)/Phoenix Zoo's Art on the Wild Side exhibit program. This unique art show, hosted at the Phoenix Zoo, promises to be a captivating celebration of art, inspiration, and conservation.

The Art on the Wild Side exhibit program, housed within the Savanna and Wild Side Galleries at the Phoenix Zoo, is a remarkable initiative that seamlessly combines the worlds of art and nature. This rotating art exhibit program serves as a platform for artists to showcase their work while aligning with the zoo's mission of inspiring and motivating guests to care for the natural world.

"Inspired: Arizona Artists Celebrate the Natural World" is the first group juried exhibition and sale organized by the Art on the Wild Side program. It features a curated collection of up to 50 artworks that embody the essence of the zoo's mission. From breathtaking landscapes to magnificent wildlife portraits, this exhibition will immerse visitors in the beauty of Arizona's natural wonders and instill a sense of awe and appreciation for the environment we share.

One of the highlights of this art show is its focus on local Arizona artists. It provides a platform for talented artists within the state to showcase their creativity and craftsmanship, fostering a sense of community and supporting the vibrant art scene in Arizona. As an artist participating in this exhibition, I feel honored to have the opportunity to display my work alongside other talented individuals who share a passion for both art and nature.

Visiting the Exhibition: The "Inspired: Arizona Artists Celebrate the Natural World" exhibition will be open to the public starting from Friday, September 8th. Admission to the exhibition is included in the regular entrance fee to the Phoenix Zoo. So, not only can you enjoy an awe-inspiring collection of artwork, but you can also explore the diverse wildlife and conservation efforts of the zoo.

By attending this exhibition, you are not only supporting local artists but also contributing to the conservation efforts of the Arizona Center for Nature Conservation (ACNC)/Phoenix Zoo. The Art on the Wild Side program, with its focus on celebrating nature through art, plays a vital role in raising awareness about the importance of preserving our natural world. Through their exhibitions, the program fosters a connection between art, the zoo, and conservation, inspiring visitors to become stewards of the environment.

This exhibition will be on display from September 8, 2023 through January 31, 2024, so you’ll have an opportunity to spend a day at the incredible Phoenix Zoo, support local artists and deepen your connection with nature.
